This training program in a nutshell
If you are new to managing staff, or if you want to improve your skills this practical and packed workshop will give you a huge boost and propel you to line management greatness.
The training program is 3 x 2 hours sessions over Zoom, with additional training materials and email support between sessions. We limit the sessions to a maximum of 20 people.
NOTE: We are currently creating a waiting list for the next course, and will look to schedule dates when the list is filled. Please get in touch for more details.
Interactive, but with lots of content and a workbook to take away, we will focus on three key areas.
SESSION 1 – People are different, however, there are three consistent things that people need. We will help you to understand your people, so you can begin to maximise their individual potential and through that process make your teams and businesses more effective.
SESSION 2 – People are different, but this includes you and understanding the person you are and your own needs will allow you to be a more effective line manager. We will help you understand yourself, how you become more organised, how you can manage others in the organisation and how you can focus on things that make things easier for you and your staff.
SESSION 3 – Management can have lots of different facets, so becoming great all them all requires knowledge and practice. We will build on the first two sessions to give practical help on topics such as meeting management, developing culture, handling challenging people and much more.
Who this program is for?
For any line managers seeking to improve their practice, and move towards being “great”. For people who are moving into line management, or who are new to line management. For people wanting to explore the topics that we are covering.
What am I committing to?
Work. There will be pre-work before we start the program, and tasks to work on after each session. You must attend all three sessions and be prepared to contribute.
